  • emergency, 24-7, on-call support from hire through 6 weeks postpartum

  • prenatal appointments every 4 weeks from conception through 32 weeks, every 2 weeks from 32-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until the birth of your baby

  • “home visit” at 36 weeks

  • midwife on call for labor from 36 weeks and until the birth of baby

  • labor, birth, and postpartum care for up to 3 hours after birth 

  • 24/48 hour visit, 3 day phone call, 1 week visit, all in the comfort of your home

  • 2 week, 4 week, and 6 week visit in my office

  • metabolic screening of the newborn (PKU test) done in your home on Day 1 or 3

  • newborn screening for Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD screening)

  • newborn hearing screen

  • paperwork for the birth certificate and social security card

  • UNLIMITED herbals

    • pregnancy tea and postpartum tea 

    • postpartum herbal baths

this option is for those attending prenatals and birthing in the hospital but who desire more comprehensive, and personalized postpartum care. this package includes all aspects of postpartum care listed above.

    • 24-48 hours post-birth visit in your home

    • 3-4 days phone check in

    • week 1 checkup in your home

    • 2 week, 4 week, and 6 week visit in my office

does insurance cover homebirth support?
that's a complicated question. many insurance companies will reimburse for home birth services. but how much and how long will it take? i do NOT bill insurance and would say don't expect to be reimbursed. my hope is that paying up front allows you to budget accordingly, without being surprised by a bill months or years after the birth of your baby.
